Duplication and Replication what's the difference? Duplication is where each disc is recorded in a CD writer onto a recordable CD-R (available in quantities under 1000). Replication is where we make a glass master, then a stamper, and discs are then pressed onto silver blanks (available in quantities of 1000 & up). We have the capacity to produce 1, 5, 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000+ duplicated discs well as provide complete labeling, packaging and assembly services. With AAM as your partner, you've found a single-source provider that offers a total solution to all your duplication requirements.
|
The duplication process begins with a thorough master analysis that identifies correct CD format, confirms complete disc readability, and scans for known viruses. Discs are duplicated with full disc verification. After a copy has been created, it is automatically reread and compared to the master on a bit by bit level that includes all error level validation and missing pulse analysis. If, during the verification process, an uncorrectable error situation occurs, the copied disc will be classified as defective and culled from the run.
