Occasionally, a client wants their existing video added to their new site design. In many cases, the video’s original footage is unavailable, and that can become an issue of sorts. In this case, I had to take the video from the website, and then break it down into its components in order to A) update it as the Shockwave (swv) flash component is no longer used in that manner on the Internet as a whole, and B) change/remove a coupon on the end of the video. It’s a time-consuming process, but is usually possible! Plus, it can save you money from having to re-shoot a new video!
Also, WordPress (WP) encapsulates videos in its framework, so what that means to you, is that WordPress can play a swv where ‘justa’ browser is unable to. You can use your old video with WP!
